If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you’ll notice my style has a evolved quite a bit since it’s inception. Denim off-the-shoulder tops and hot pink wall backdrops have led way to moody street corners and monochromatic neutrals.

It’s easy to say that it’s my age or maybe the LA air, but honestly I think it’s a bit of it all. Fashion, for me, has always been about making a silent statement in a language that speaks differently to everyone. A unique form of artistic expression that, for whatever reason, changes over time, and even, day to day.

As the Fashion Weeks are upon us {and we all pray we don’t bring this LA rain with us…}, I’ve been taking a deeper look at what statements I want to make in 2017 – fashion focused and otherwise. It’s still a tad up in the air, but I’m pretty sure this monochromatic look is a strong start. I’m guessing I’ll be picking up plenty more tidbits of inspiration on the streets of NYFW anyway…

Stay tuned for that!
