For someone who loves denim as much as I do, I’ve had the hardest time finding the perfect pair of cut off shorts this summer. I still have favorite pairs by Current Elliot & JBrand that I’ve worn to near fibers {not in the cute way} and have been dying for a pair of vintage Levi’s forever. I’ve been in everything from vintage pop-ups to designer boutiques and nothing was exactly right. Until this past weekend at the Melrose Trading Post.

I was spending a day with my own self {you guys, NECESSARY}, exploring some new spots and some old favorite places. I stopped at the MTP for a few succulents when I discovered an ENTIRE STAND of vintage Levi’s. This is not a drill. I grabbed handfuls of different washes, colors and some with prints, praying to the denim spirits above that one would be just right. I’m sure one of them felt some pity for me at this point, and delivered this perfectly cut pair. PSA: they were $25.

If you live in Los Angeles, pay this incredible stand a visit.
