As a fashion blogger, it’s easy to get “wooed” by the string of emails from PR companies looking to ship you clothing, jewelry and beauty products-especially when you’re first starting out. Back in January, at the very early stages of my blogging days (I’m still no veteran, BELIEVE), I was sitting down for breakfast with my now dear friend Christina (Profresh Style) who said to me with regards to accepting products, “If I wouldn’t buy it myself, I’m not taking it.” And I’ve stuck to those wise words with regards to my own business ever since.
Insert Kal Rieman-a strong, yet beautiful label with a lot to say about man tailoring for women. It is through timeless pieces in relevant colors and patterns that set Cally (designer) and her team apart from other more masculine brands.
After receiving a very personal (you’d be surprised how many stock emails I receive) email from their team and doing some research on their brand and their new line-I want it all-it’s so exciting to say this dress did not disappoint. The cut, the fit and the fabric are uniquely seamed to a women’s body with just enough modesty that resembles something of a custom tailored men’s suit.
