I’ve gotten a lot of questions around what I pack in my carry-on for traveling. I’m in the (slow) process of packing for a week in NYC so I thought this would be a perfect time to share.
Eat: I’m a not so closet health nut and staying true to good habits is hardest whilst traveling. Hunger attacks on a plane are no joking matter and in fact, I’m not sure there’s anything worse. Justin’s almond butter packs are perfect alone or in yogurt and the protein from the nuts will keep you full.
Lug: Large totes are a great carry-on option that stay organized really nicely. This Claire Viver one is an all time favorite, that fits my Canon 50D perfectly. I also keep a little pouch for easy access to business cards or bobby pins. I love this one by Comme des Garcons.
Hydrate: It is imperative to stay hydrated while flying. Fresh Seaberry serum and Caudalie Lip Conditioner are what I use to keep my skin from drying out. Nars illuminator is perfect for brightening right before stepping off the plane.
Read: I’ve been dying to read #GIRLBOSS and every time I sit down to read, something always comes up. Flying is a great, uninterrupted few hours to get into a new read.
Wear: Comfort is the most important thing for me while traveling, as I fly a lot of red-eyes. These Chloe flats (I also posted about them here) are my top choice, paired with this cozy hoodie and my Illesteva sunnies.
