Los Angeles has been showing glimmers of bright sun and warmer days since the start of the year. This weekend was no exception and I made a few outfit changes to acclimate accordingly. I normally start my days off with a power vinyasa class at Maha Yoga in Brentwood or at Danielle Rollins’ Soulcycle class in WeHo. I layer up for the cool morning and by the time I’m out of class I’m ready for my sunnies and a tank top.
To accommodate for this, i’ve been gravitating toward light and airy long sleeve tops and cutoff combos as of late. If short shorts aren’t your thing, long denim and a silk tank serve the same purpose. To be honest, I’ve just been ITCHING to show some skin (and hopefully get a little tan in the process?) I picked this light weight silk blouse instead of my normal go-to blazer to add a pop of color, but button downs, textured jackets and leather are other options to throw over a tank while the weather remains, truly, hot and cold.
